A general plea to all, in view of the fact that we will, everyone of us, encounter broken, hurting, grieving people in the normal course of life. A respected friend and fellow bereaved parent reminded me recently how very easy it is for us to adopt a "walk by on the other side of the road" policy when we are face to face with another's pain (Luke 10:30-36). But the Bible says: "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" -- Galatians 6:2
