I don't mean to tarnish anyone's day of joy by dishing up sadness. But when for many "the hardest part of parenting is watching your children grow up," please, just a moment's thought today for those moms who will never see their child grow up. And for those who see them grow up (just barely); only to have to say goodbye, and see them no more on this earth. If nothing else, may the thought make us that much more grateful for the ones we do have here with us to share this day.
