Prayer

I have not paid much attention to weather anomalies, traditionally. This upcoming hurricane does have me on my knees, after seeing the effects of the last couple big storms that hit Lynchburg and surrounding areas over the past year in the lives of our new circle of friends and brethren (extending through Virginia and North Carolina). God will only allow the disruption His love will allow, but He does tell us to always be vigilant in prayer (Luke 18; Ephesians 6:18, etc). We would appreciate your prayers in advance! P.S.: Please remember especially to mention the deaf in your prayers. They have ways of visually alerting in severe weather, but it can still bring special challenges.
